A full sprayer tank weighs sixteen to twenty-two kilograms. A farmer carries it for hours, on slopes, in heat. The straps matter more than almost anything else on the machine — and they’re the first thing to show wear.

What’s in the kit

The new harness kit is a direct retrofit for every IFOURNI backpack sprayer sold since 2019 — manual or electric, no adapters, no tools beyond your hands:

  • Wider straps that spread the load across more of the shoulder — the single change testers noticed most.
  • Ventilated padding — an open-cell mesh back that sheds heat instead of trapping it.
  • Field-standard buckles, the same fittings used across our current production, so replacements are always in dealer stock.

Where the idea came from

From the field, as usual. A coffee farmer in Yunnan who’s carried the same IF-16M for ten harvests had replaced his strap set exactly once — and told us it was the only part of the machine he’d ever thought about. That conversation started the redesign; several hundred hours of field testing finished it.

The kit is stocked as a standard spare part through every dealer office. If your straps are fraying — or your shoulders are complaining — the retrofit takes about five minutes.
